A Designer who created the Special Zones.
That simple sentence struck me hard.
Did he mean there was a being that had created those monstrous spaces?
“That is not the Bureau’s official position.”
Cha Si-eon interjected upon seeing my horrified expression.
Oh Tae-o scowled fiercely.
He looked as though he had bitten into an insect.
Wait, he openly made a face like that in front of the person concerned?
Cha Si-eon appeared accustomed to it, because he ignored even that display of supreme contempt.
Forgetting my own shock amid the antisocial atmosphere, I looked back and forth between them.
After silently mastering his anger, Oh Tae-o continued.
“Agent Seo Do-un said it himself, didn’t he? That Special Zones are unexpectedly reasonable and resemble games designed to be cleared. I agree. The Bureau defines them as ‘spaces hostile to humans,’ but if they contained nothing but hostility and malice, would they have exits? The fact that there are ways out means they were designed that way…….”
Oh Tae-o pushed up his glasses meaningfully.
“And the Designer must have had a special purpose in creating…
