“You don’t have a girlfriend, do you?”
I didn’t.
The question had neither context nor consideration.
So after thinking for a long while, I asked in return,
“Did I do something wrong?”
“Ah, was that too out of the blue? Ha-ha. It’s not that you did anything wrong…….”
Kwon Mu-seop was waving both hands when—
Bang—!
The door suddenly flew open, and Kim Woo-in stormed inside.
“Why are you keeping the patient for so long?”
“We are nearly finished.”
“Forget nearly. Just finish. Whether or not he has a girlfriend is hardly important right now.”
Kim Woo-in immediately shot back at Cha Si-eon’s reply.
Apparently, he had been listening to everything outside.
He had detected his patient’s crisis and deployed. What a true doctor.
“That’s enough. Get up. Stop tormenting the patient and get the hell out.”
Kim Woo-in strode over and repeatedly smacked the back of his hand against Kwon Mu-seop’s shoulder.
It seemed Manager Kwon Mu-seop really was the communal punching bag after all.
“No, I’m not tormenting him. I just think this is something Do-un needs.”
Kwon Mu-seop endured Kim Woo-in’s cold treatment as he spoke.
That made the same question occur to me again.
What had I done wrong?
Kwon Mu-seop addressed me as I sank into thought.
