The arrogance in his tone made Sungjin clench his fist instinctively.
But recognizing that his body was in no shape to deal out the punishment his junior deserved, Sungjin resigned himself to leaning back on his hospital bed.

“But I gotta say, you’re something else, senior. Who’d have thought you’d actually walk back from there?”
The junior pulled over a chair, sitting beside him with an unassuming, innocent expression.

Without thinking, Sungjin retorted, only for a cough to interrupt him, sending a few specks of blood into the air.
