“Oh, good boy. Look how smart you are! Shake!” Sungjin praised him as he scratched behind Max’s ears, who let out a gentle whine, clearly enjoying the attention.
But then, Sungjin felt an odd stare and glanced up.
Sure enough, Luise was watching him with a peculiar expression, while the old kennel keeper looked at him like he was dealing with a madman.
