“Physical attacks definitely seem meaningless…”
Hawkeye reached that conclusion after expending two piercing arrows.
Ordinary attacks had no effect on that thing called Hawa or whatever it was.
Even if Mana was added, attacks focused on maximizing physical force were just as useless.
“Which one has the explosive spell on it?”
“This one.”
Then it would be better to change the method of attack.
Hawkeye set down the narrow-headed arrow and picked up a new one with a barbed arrowhead.
Creak.
The triangular arrowhead was drawn steadily backward with the bowstring until its point nearly touched the bow stave.
Ping!
A moment later, the string released with fierce momentum and sent the arrow flying.
The butterfly-shaped cloth ornament attached to Hawkeye’s hair fluttered like wings in the gust created by the arrow.
BOOM!
“Oh! Did it hit?”
“Yes.”
Timañuk, who had been granted a brief rest while they determined which forms of magic were effective, clenched a fist.
It was the reaction of an ordinary civilian who understood that the attack had connected, but had no idea about the finer details.
“Then should I only enchant them with explosion magic from now on?”
“No. I think we should hold off on that for now.”
From Hawkeye’s perspective, however, things looked somewhat different.
He nocked another enchanted arrow and drew the string once more.
