Hawkeye watched the assault team reach the castle’s barrier—though in truth, he couldn’t see the barrier itself, only the group floating in midair—and lowered his bow.
His arm throbbed faintly after continuously making long-range shots without rest for such a short span of time.
“How is it?”
“They made it properly, except for two people.”
“Except for two people??”
“It’s fine. They should still be alive.”
He recalled the two who had failed to escape in time and ended up clinging to the dragon’s head.
The Cureti had nearly been chewed to death by the dragon, but Hawkeye had clearly seen the dark-skinned Sland abandon her parachute to save the knight.
Afterward, he had even faintly seen the silhouettes of the two climbing onto the dragon’s head.

A little later, he spotted the Cureti flying from the dragon’s tail toward the Hero’s group.
Hawkeye knew that Cureti knight didn’t possess jumping ability anywhere near that level, so the Sland must have thrown him.
“The Cureti knight has joined them now. But it looks like the Sland warrior stayed on the dragon’s back.”
“Berserk did……?”
“Yes.”
With the muscles in his arm loosened again, Hawkeye picked up another bow.
There was a reason he had deliberately switched weapons.
Now that the Hero’s party had reached the barrier, there was no longer any need to provide covering fire for them.
