“You son of a bitch who deserves worse than being fried in sewage… You bastard with maggots dangling where your tongue should be… You scum who only cares about your own fucking survival and throws everyone else into a pit of evil… Though you aren’t even human in the first place….”
Daniel did not know what it was, but apparently, it was impossible. The disappointment that the root cause of everything had once again escaped capture and the torrent of insulting language left him mentally dizzy. It could not be helped when most of the phrases spilling forth were ones he had heard only occasionally from those who lived at the very bottom of society—the people of the back alleys.
“Your language is… harsher than I expected….”
Of course, he did not believe that, demon or not, the choice of words was excessive. The target of the Demon Knight’s condemnation deserved even greater contempt and disgust. If anything, it would be strange if that being did not receive them.
The source of his dizziness lay elsewhere. The person speaking every one of those words was not Meister, but the Demon Knight.
That fact stunned Daniel. The shock was so great that he did not even notice how much more casual the other man’s speech had become.
“It is unexpected, I’ll give you that. But isn’t that still rather mild?”
“…You call that mild?”
