After the Young Lord left, I ignored Wrath’s quibble as always and considered the offer he had left me. Even after mulling it over again, it was unquestionably not a bad offer.
No, for me, it was actually the best possible option. In this class-based society, daily life with the Young Lord backing me could hardly be uncomfortable.
At most, trouble might arise if someone capable of overruling the Young Lord’s authority—in other words, the Lord—objected. But given how the Young Lord appeared to manage most affairs, that possibility was low.
