Deathbringer’s and Meister’s expressions twisted.

Using magic did not absolutely require both hands.

The problem was that while this let them cast magic more quickly under normal circumstances, losing one arm made the situation unfamiliar.

They were now doing with one hand what they normally did with two.

Naturally, they became far more sluggish than usual.

It was the fatal weakness of a mage accustomed to using both hands.
