Two days had passed since we properly entered the Norda region.
Deathbringer, tightly bundled up in a fur cloak, trembled violently.
He had layered on so much clothing that his arms and legs looked two or three times thicker than normal, yet apparently he was still freezing.

“…You are probably the only person in the world who asks for a blessing the way one asks for water.”
“Do I look like I give a shit when I’m about to freeze to death?”
Given Deathbringer’s condition, Meister was having just as hard a time.
If Erutelk hadn’t wrapped Meister in warming magic while Daniel and Inquisitor took turns giving blessings, Meister would have collapsed over the horse long ago.
“This weather is so bad horses can’t even travel through it. How does that make any sense……?”
“We could not use horses in the desert either.”
“But there were camels!”
“I heard they use reindeer or dog sleds in this region instead. And horses with unicorn bloodlines seem to travel just fine.”
