Frankenstein chuckled as he looked at Elizabeth’s deathly pale face.
Seeing an unexpected face had made him completely forget to keep up his act… but this wasn’t so bad either. As the price for seeing a face he had believed he would never see again in his lifetime, this was well worth paying.
