Flick!
“Ugh.”
Faust held back a groan at the finger flick that landed against his forehead.
Crying loudly just because he had been flicked on the forehead would not be knightly in the slightest.
“Waaaaah.”

Faust rubbed the spot that had been struck with one hand while patting the back of the sobbing Rinya.
Their mother looked at the two of them with an expression that said they were giving her a genuine headache.
“If the same thing happens again next time… you know what'll happen, don't you?”
“Wheeeh, Mom is so meeeean.”
“Faust, you shouldn't believe everything Rinya tells you either. Your father does the same thing, and you indulge every single one of her whims too, so she's started thinking she can get away with anything.”

Faust knew that especially well because he had accompanied his Hyung and Noona on patrol before.
Neighborhoods belonging to the upper districts were at least somewhat better, but in the lower districts, children were abducted and sold with genuinely alarming frequency.
Reports of missing children came in at least once a week.
“Still, you did well looking after Rinya. Good boy.”
“…I'm her Oppa.”
So next time, he should make sure to tell…
