With one piece of grim news after another, the Academy was in turmoil.
It looked like a beehive that had been violently stirred up. Then again, this was the greatest educational institution on the continent, and it was full of children from distinguished families. Naturally, they had no choice but to be more sensitive to news like this.
There were probably plenty of people here with ties to the factions that had been attacked.
Looking back, I found myself wondering whether the Academy had ever truly been peaceful. At least, I didn’t think it had been since I received the ‘Love Letter From the Future.’
I was making my way through the commotion that had become part of everyday life. Wherever I went, I could hear anxious whispers, but even amid a blaze, a deep lake knew how to keep its silence.
I followed that silence, and before long, I had reached my destination. A palace of refined elegance stood before me.
‘Versia Palace.’
Just like the ‘Sun’s Rest,’ where the Saintess had stayed, the Academy had accommodations set aside for those of noble standing. This building, named after an Empress from the distant past, was one such place.
Perhaps it would be more accurate to call it a place prepared for the Dragon’s Bloodline.
