My second expedition into A Fun Theme Park! had finally ended.
And then…
the research team in charge was thrown into utter chaos.
Expedition results:
Of the 12 personnel deployed, 8 returned.
Of those who returned, 2 completed the expedition within the scheduled time, but the other 6 were found in the conference room where the board game had begun on the sixth day of the expedition.
Among them, one employee showing symptoms of complete contamination (mask deformation) was identified. Transferred to the Fox Counseling Room.
Witness accounts confirmed the deaths of 3 of the 4 who failed to return. All were individuals who had drawn red pieces, and one of them was carried by a survivor with only the head remaining, but it was lost in the Yellow Zone.
Additional note 1) Visual appraisal of the collected dreamdew solution determined it to be of higher quality than before. Similar to A-grade.
Additional note 2) Many of the expedition employees who returned on the sixth day stated that they had worked as theme park staff. They claimed they had received items from the gift shop as wages.
That was probably how the wiki would have summarized it after an obsessive verification process.
Because the expedition period had increased sixfold, yet the solution grade was one level higher. It was, quite literally, irregular.
And there had only been one irregular variable.

But since I looked like some Ghost Story creature or contaminated something-or-other, I was able to scare the research team and escape interview hell without much trouble and go home.
