Dark-blue shrieks were pouring down like a tidal wave.
The charge of the monsters, whose color resembled the night, was reckless. So many Dragonkin had emerged from between the gigantic roots that counting them with the naked eye had already become impossible.
To think the Order had concealed a force of this magnitude.
The underlying power of an organization that had lain in wait for thousands of years was truly terrifying. I had suspected something like this, but the pressure of an imagined possibility taking on the weight of reality was dreadful beyond measure.
So much so that the screams erupting across the battle lines sounded like death cries.

“We need only endure until the three of them bring the situation under control!”
Even so, humanity’s elites did not collapse easily.
If anything, most of them encouraged one another and endured with all their strength. Perhaps the knowledge that the final battle had begun in the truest sense fanned their will to fight.
