Before such a question, answering ‘the end of life’ might seem somewhat cowardly. It inevitably led to another difficult problem: ‘What is life?’
An antiquated question that, outside of adolescence, only old-fashioned philosophers would still cling to.
It now filled Ria Percus’s entire mind. Perhaps because she had witnessed the death of ‘family’ for the first time in her life.
It had been far too miserable an end.
Even without any bond of blood, it was a conclusion that would make anyone sigh in sorrow. How tragic had been the life of a girl who met her end after being toyed with her entire life?
