Galazia Thalassa did not know very much about him. Until Ionia was destroyed, he had not cared in the slightest about what went on in Delcross.
It was simply that, having spent most of his repeated lives among Ionia’s mainstream society, he had inevitably found himself occasionally picking up the highly confidential information exchanged among those in positions of leadership.
After piecing together the scraps of information he had gathered that way, Galazia Thalassa had arrived at the following conclusion.
The “Prepared One” is the champion the high-ranking Demon Kings have spent a thousand years preparing to oppose the Lord God.
The high-ranking Demon Kings were by no means fools. How could they not have understood why the Lord God had proposed a thousand-year reprieve?
The Lord God had most likely sacrificed the causality of the present to prepare for the future. His own divinity, the lives of the three ancient dragons who would have become his steadfast allies, and the countless human souls that would be offered to the Demon Kings over the following thousand years—he had sacrificed them all.
And thus, as the Primordial Pact approached its end, he had intended to use all those sacrifices as the foundation for germinating a single variable capable of stopping the Demon Kings’ invasion.
