And the reconciliation between the Ionia race and humans, something they had thought could never happen.
As leaders of their respective races, Downpour and Hatasu Titi could not help but find themselves with much to think about.
Until now, they had lived hidden away in remote places such as the vicinity of the perceptual horizon or the southern rainforest. But as long as the range of human activity continued to expand, their existence would inevitably be revealed to the world someday.
Would the Manta people and humans be able to maintain this amicable atmosphere going forward? And when their own turn came someday, would they too be able to coexist as naturally as they did now?

This mighty Ancient Dragon, who had once been worshiped like a god and ruled over an entire era, seemed to be overwhelmed by complicated emotions at the appearance and death of another dragon. The wrinkles on his forehead, standing out far more clearly than usual, seemed to reveal the full weight of the anguish he had endured throughout the day.
