To Sungjin, the Manta Tribe was an exceedingly strange existence.
There was something about them that inexplicably rubbed him the wrong way. He could not think of any particular grudge he held against them, yet somehow they irritated him for no reason at all.
‘No, maybe it isn’t simply a problem with them. I have this feeling that if Logan gets involved with those guys like this, the problems that come afterward are going to be even more troublesome…….’

Thanks to that, even while eating dinner, Sungjin could hardly get Logan and the Manta Tribe out of his mind.
“You seem strangely tired. Would you like to retire for the night, Your Highness?”
So Sir Carmen’s casual suggestion sounded rather tempting.
Who knew what kind of pointless nonsense Logan was getting himself into all alone right about now?
Maybe today he should just stick right beside him and keep watch over the guy……

Perhaps because he had recently been attempting the connection so often, even putting up with eating raw meat for the sake of it, he could now transfer his consciousness into Max as naturally as breathing.
But ever since earlier, some strange premonition had been holding Sungjin back.
