I stared blankly at Kwak Hanmuk.
I had heard both his words and Dominic’s clearly, yet struggled to understand them.
As I remained frozen, Kwak Hanmuk held out his left arm.
My gaze moved of its own accord toward the forearm he offered for a closer look.
Blue lightning branched up toward his upper arm.
I remembered entering DZD for the first time.
The default outfit had been a short-sleeved shirt and military trousers, but Kwak Hanmuk alone had somehow found a varsity jacket to wear.
I had dismissed it without thought then. Looking back now, I realized it must have been to conceal the tattoo.
Unlike me, half dazed, Dominic explained calmly.
His tone resembled that of a teacher delivering a lesson with an instructional aid.
“He brought a god into his body but failed to digest it, managing only to seal it away. Even that proved too burdensome, forcing him to draw an image upon his body and make use of an accessory. Can you not see?”
He continued, explaining that Kwak Hanmuk was struggling without gaining any benefit.

Then he offered me a courteous suggestion.
