I snapped my eyes open at the bright notification chime.
The first thing I did was check the pudding slime.
“Good morning, Mr. Gunbam.”
Dominic offered me a welcoming greeting.

Though he had slept crumpled into a corner of the straw bed, he appeared not to complain because he had remained on top of me the entire time.
