Whether Archmage was talking with an old acquaintance or not, Berserk simply moved her gaze after the girl who was wandering in circles according to standards known only to herself.
Back when they had still been in the north, the girl had done the work of a full-grown person of Norda.
Somewhere along the way, however, she had become a child who freely acted spoiled.
Regression.
Degeneration.
The situation had reached the point where neither word would have sounded strange.
“Great Warrior, look at this! There’s a bug moving around while it’s still alive!”

Still, Berserk had no intention of saying anything about it.
She merely found it both amusing and fascinating that Adventurer had coaxed and comforted the girl until she could finally relax this much.

“Um, normally, isn’t this the part where you say she shouldn’t eat it instead of discussing what it tastes like……?”

Even if it did carry poison, the fact that Berserk’s knowledge contained nothing about it meant it clearly was not a creature worth worrying about.
Therefore, eating it would not kill the girl.
“That which cannot kill a person of Norda only makes a person of Norda stronger.”
In any case, operating under that logic, Berserk left the girl to flutter around however she pleased.
If everything ended and they were able to go south, would the girl try to eat butterflies too?
