Vividly enough that I could never forget it. Because it was an incident that could fairly be called a turning point in my life at Baekilmong Co., Ltd.
The invitation ritual for the Good Friend.
I ran to the bathroom, brought back water, poured it across the floor of the resort office, and began drawing with my finger.
Strangely enough, I could remember exactly what the design looked like. As if someone had planted it into my head for me.
In an instant, the floor was covered in the damp image of a hexagram.
The only difference was….

It was so large that the hexagram spread across the entire floor of the office.
I placed the deactivated Magic Bunny mascot costume in the middle of the completed hexagram.
And then, onto the belly of the costume, with the greatest care I could manage, a coin….
‘……’
I can’t take out a coin.
The silver snake coin I had originally used when summoning the Good Friend… was inside the pocket of my ordinary clothes, underneath the mascot costume, underneath the Security Team outfit.
But I couldn’t take off the mascot suit.
‘…In that case!’
I opened the office drawer and took out one of the theme park coins.
‘This is a coin too.’
It might be a plastic token, but it was unquestionably currency, and it fit the meaning of a coin in this ritual.
It didn’t mean something literally cast in metal, but rather a small round piece of money with value.
