Jin Nasol frowned as she looked inside the restaurant entrance.
It was the kind of place where you had to take off your shoes before going in. As was typical of barbecue restaurants with large private rooms, it was moderately crowded with office workers.
In other words, it was a classic company dinner venue.
Director Ho had summoned the employees who had come out of the darkness with disturbingly precise timing, but he had at least given them time to rest.
Thanks to that, they had managed to catch up on the sleep they had missed until lunchtime before coming out to the dinner venue Director Ho had designated.
And then…
“So this place is open at lunchtime too.”
“They probably focus mostly on meal dishes during the day.”
“Ooh.”
That person.
Jin Nasol stared as though trying to see straight through the employee who was talking with Lee Seonghae.
“Shall we go in?”
A man in a black feline mask.
—For this dinner gathering, please make sure to wear your masks^^
Normally, it would have been natural for everyone to take their masks off at a company dinner, but this time everyone was wearing them because of that bizarre rule, so she could not see his bare face.
And although he kept speaking politely with formal honorifics… he spoke in a strangely familiar and gentle way.
“Assistant Manager, are the other members of Group A coming too?”
“Why are you curious about that?”
“Ah, I haven’t met the people from Group A in the project before. I suppose I got curious. My apologies.”
To her, too.
He even bent himself mildly and politely without provoking her mood.
That was the kind of person one rarely saw in…
