Hispenril’s Gongwang (Duke-King) struck a few statue-like poses for the admiring crowd, then came to his senses.
He called to the Duchy’s knights stationed behind him:
“My attacks may cover a broad area, but they only travel in straight lines. Any devils that slip through, you finish off.”
“Yes, Your Grace!”
The knights answered with loyal fervor. As soon as he heard them, the Gongwang clenched both fists.
Then, like pounding on an invisible sandbag, he began hammering the air before him.
“Eeeek!”
“Gyaaaak!”
Fifty meters away, the devils melted away into nothing.
The Gongwang’s Aura-infused punches reached all the way to the central plaza, periodically wiping out newly emerging fiends.
In truth, no exaggeration to say he alone was annihilating more than half the demonic forces.
Watching from behind, the knights stood in astonishment.
