Reed personally removed Librilli from the display case and held it out to me.
Because Reed already possessed a demonic sword, the weapon did not judge him a “first contact” candidate when he touched it.
Naturally, I hesitated.
So the Holy Demon-Slaying Sword is fused into it…
If someone worthy becomes its owner, it functions as a holy sword. But if an unqualified individual lacking the proper convictions picks it up, it transforms into a demonic sword.
In that latter case, the demonic sword takes the first person who touches it as a host and goes on a mindless killing spree.
All those traits have been carried over into this weapon. If I mishandle it, I might end up like Illeon Odrek.

I gazed quietly at Librilli as it lay in Reed’s hand.
I don’t consider myself evil. But the “good” criteria set by the Holy Demon-Slaying Sword are extremely strict.
