The blizzard raged on without end.
Like a spoiled child begging for a meal during a famine, the foul weather showed no signs of stopping. Gradually invading the marble forest were dark red tumors, and over the footsteps of students coming and going with hoods pulled low, a pure white trial descended.
On this pale landscape painting.
A girl with a pure white hood pulled low was quietly taking steps. Accompanying the north wind as chilling as midwinter sunlight.
The destination wasn’t far.
Thanks to the extremely narrow traversable range of the Academy infested with ‘pollution tumors.’ Even the farthest places could be reached within 10 minutes on foot, and anything farther had been abandoned long ago.
In other words, it meant that over ten thousand people were crammed into this cramped space.
Even so, the Academy was as silent as a terminally ill artery.
Perhaps, because of that.
The place the girl soon arrived at gave a somewhat alien feeling. The ward resounding with noisy sounds, mixed with shouts and moans, was the only space in the Academy emitting light and heat.
