Is there a word that carries more diverse connotations?
It was a syllable that revealed a new flavor each time I savored it. Sometimes it exuded a sweet fragrance like fruit pulp, other times a fresh bitterness like soil, and sometimes the fishy taste of blood that wouldn’t fade.
The man’s memories were the same.
