One world shakes.
It was a barrier that had remained steadfast through thousands of sword strikes and tens of thousands of explosions. Wasn’t it the spell of absolute beings beyond common sense’s measure, one that ultimately didn’t collapse even in the collisions of those beings?
But now it was different.
The pitch-black earth shattered into pieces and collapsed, and soil and grass began to fill that space. The dark curtain covering the sky lifted, revealing the moon and stars in their elegant forms.
This change wasn’t limited to the barrier alone.
The ‘vampire,’ who could be called its master, had likewise lost the shell of a natural disaster. The being that had reigned like an amorphous calamity lost its immortality and plummeted to the ground.
In the form of a human.
At first, she wore an expression of utter incomprehension.
“How on earth… I thought I had grasped all the forces…!”
“What a hard face to look at, ‘Jealousy.'”
It was an emotionless tone, but anyone could tell it contained blatant mockery.
The vampire’s gaze, filled with killing intent, turned toward its source. There stood a man with eyes that were terribly weary.
