There was once a game that became wildly popular among the gods and Demon Kings.
They would overwrite an intact dimension with the rules of the Quartz Image World, then sit back and watch how it reacted.
First, they invaded an easy target dimension and bestowed upon its intelligent inhabitants a system unique to the Quartz Image World. Then the ignorant livestock would come to believe that, someday, they might overcome the alien invasion through their own strength. And so they would throw themselves wholeheartedly into a desperate struggle for survival.
Cases like these often generated Causality of a quality that could not even be compared to simply destroying a dimension. It was essentially the creation of a versatile farm that was entertaining to observe while also allowing the harvesting of vast amounts of Causality.
Unfortunately, those farm dimensions rarely met good ends. Most were ultimately destroyed after every last player was wiped out.
The reason was that nearly all intelligent species failed to grow powerful enough to repel the invasion. After all, there was little reason for the farm owner to grant livestock gathered for the sole purpose of producing as much Causality as possible a god-slaying authority powerful enough to threaten the owner himself.
And so countless dimensions were dragged into the games of gods and Demon Kings, only to march straight down the road to destruction.
Of course, on exceedingly rare occasions, an exceptional specimen of livestock would appear and manage to seize the power of god-slaying. After several Demon Kings suffered an unfortunate “change of generations” that…
