“…Lord Leo?”
He had thought Leonard seemed unusually spirited about wandering around on his own. Surely he hadn’t gotten himself into some kind of accident?
“…….”
Still, Romaine was not particularly worried about Leonard’s safety.
After all, Romaine himself was the one who had practically covered Leonard’s entire body in every kind of self-defense code imaginable.
There were probably very few people on this continent who could directly threaten Leonard’s life.

Having thought that far, Romaine relaxed and put away the communication device.
What mattered to him now was not Prince Leonard, but the whereabouts of Cyprus’s Head Tower and its “controller.”
‘The Storyteller, Sigurd Sigurson, cannot directly manipulate codes the way I can.’
Romaine thought this as he looked up at the now-empty hill where the Head Tower had once stood.
The Storyteller probably understood, at least roughly, how the Head Tower operated and how it was controlled. Since he had once used Romaine as a puppet, Romaine had already expected that much knowledge to flow backward to him.
But properly reactivating codes…
