Black smoke billowed high from the West Wing.
Urgency was plain on the faces of the special fire brigade and Hunters scrambling all over the scene.
The first tremor in the building had come about fifty minutes earlier.
They immediately restricted outside access, and everyone inside—trainees included—evacuated outside per instructions, but that was as far as it went.
Officials failed to identify the exact cause, and just as things were about to be written off as a training mishap, the fire broke out.
“It looks like it’s getting bigger… Is this okay?”
Park Sun-yo asked Beom beside her, worry plain in her voice.
It had already been ten minutes. Contrary to early expectations that it would be contained easily, the blaze refused to die and only swelled.
“We need to find the summoner first, but we can’t get inside.”
“A summoner?”
