Every Clean3 Ending I knew ended with the player leaving the mansion aboard the spaceship.
The Ending music played over the image of the mansion receding into the distance.
As I stood blankly holding the newspaper, the Cat Butler spoke.
“Do not worry too much, Gunbam. I shall find a transport vessel. Sending one person like you home will be no difficulty at all!”
As I listened to him tell me to trust him, Je Hyuno’s voice crossed my mind.
“You believe that?”
But… anyone could see the Cat Butler was trying to help me now.
“However, as you know, Gunbam, we have no reason to venture outside. It will therefore take some time to obtain a transport vessel. Your stay will extend beyond the week you originally promised.”
“Gunbam. Stay with us.”
The Cat Butler and Rabbit Butler looked down at me.
After standing motionless with the newspaper in my hands, I looked up and asked,
“Are you… all right with that?”
“Of course.”
“Why would we object? If you remain with us, Gunbam, we shall be nothing but delighted.”
I folded the newspaper neatly and returned it to the Cat Butler.
“Then I’m sorry to impose, but I’ll remain in your care for a few more days.”
