There were two bosses in DZD’s laboratory.
The first was the Security Guard Zombie encountered the moment the player entered the first-floor lobby.
The Security Guard Zombie, with its grotesquely swollen body, had injected illegal steroid-based drugs to increase its muscles while it was human.
As its zombification progressed, the residual compounds in the drugs accelerated the transformation, leaving it no different from a monster.
The Security Guard Zombie boasted the strongest attack power in DZD, but Je Hyuno had eliminated it at the beginning, so I never even saw its face.
The second was the Cook Zombie in the underground zone.
According to its backstory, a cook had fled into the generator room when the zombie outbreak began and turned there. Trapped in a space filled with noise twenty-four hours a day, it was fiercer and possessed sharper hearing than any other zombie.
The Cook Zombie was a time-attack boss that continuously struck the emergency generator and lowered its operating capacity.
If the player focused only on deliveries and delayed the strategy for too long, it would destroy the emergency generator completely and send the game straight to a Bad Ending.
It also followed a pattern of attacking indiscriminately once the boss battle began, making it important to keep drawing its attention so it could not damage the generator.
