The Asein Grand Duchy has several annexes.
As befitting the continent’s wealthiest and most powerful family, most of them boast large scales and splendid architectural styles, but among them, there are some modest and small annexes that seem out of place.
This was due to the preferences of some guests who desired a unique atmosphere, but since there weren’t many who sought them, some annexes were forgotten and neglected.
Currently, an elderly woman in stealth attire was walking through the courtyard of one of these neglected annexes.
Her modest half-gray hair contrasted with the dark stealth clothes, which might have looked peculiar, but strangely, none of the servants noticed her presence.
A maid carrying laundry, a servant trimming the garden trees, and even the guards at the annex entrance—
None of them perceived her existence, busy with their own tasks, as the woman leisurely passed through the mansion’s entrance and headed towards the staircase leading to the second floor where the bedrooms were located.
It was just as she reached the front of the Empress’s room.

Following the sharp sound of a slap, a shrill woman’s rebuke rang out.
