My expression didn’t change as I looked at Mongmong.
Light spring-green hair. A sunny expression to match that color, and even eyes that looked faintly flushed.
It was exactly the same as what I’d seen in the afternoon.
“We haven’t seen each other in a while, right?”
“Calling it a while is a stretch; it hasn’t been long.”
“Hahahaha. Is that so? Then I suppose so.”
He still looked out of his mind. Whatever he found so delightful, he seemed downright giddy.
How did he show up out of nowhere?
I didn’t bother to wonder.
‘I already knew he’d be lurking nearby anyway.’
I hadn’t tried to sense his presence, but he’d be watching me from somewhere close.
I was sure of it.
‘He must have already seen me.’
Once he started suspecting me, he wouldn’t have let go easily.
Even if he’d quietly checked something and left, he’d surely try…
