Four beings who exist directly beneath him, bearing his blessing and authority.
Here, they are called Generals.
Each General possessed a country of their own.
The Myriad Realms is vast, and so there are countless regions—but in truth, there are only four places that can be called “countries.”
Those are the Generals’ countries.
Yawol is where most of the Wolya Tribe dwell among them.
The name of the General who rules this place, they said, is Yusa.
‘Yusa.’
As I recall the name, I picture someone in my head.
I overlay it once with the name he gave, and—
‘That name doesn’t resemble it at all.’
He said “Mongmong,” and there isn’t a single corner of similarity.
He wears the form of a pale green-haired boy, and yet—Mongmong?
‘What a perverse temperament.’
A strange bastard.
And—
‘He was strong.’
He was very strong.
Though we met only for a moment, the memory is stamped deep.
He peeled back just a fraction, and his presence filled the surroundings.
On that basis alone, I wondered just how much power he had.
If that’s a General—
‘This won’t be easy.’
So it isn’t that the one called “chieftain” was uniquely strong; most Generals are at that level?
