A common shorthand for the ranks of monsters that spill out of the Demon Realm Gate.
Green means something just stronger than ordinary beasts.
Blue carries the strength of what feels like several Greens put together.
Of course, since Green wasn’t that high to begin with, even if multiple of them banded together, taking down a Blue wasn’t particularly hard.
Peak.
At that level, one could dispatch Blue-grade with ease.
But.
‘From Red onward, it’s different.’
From Red-grade monsters onward, the numbers change. A single Peak—two at most—could never bring one down. Starting at Red, they develop intrinsic traits of their own, and ordinary firepower won’t win.
‘Because you have to pierce the Qi Veil.’
The Qi Veil that exists from Red and up.
Its property of nullifying a warrior’s internal qi made easy hunts impossible.
