Shall we talk about Luna Alphenhauser’s life?
To be frank, it was an uninteresting story. The childhoods of children born into the Empire’s prestigious noble houses were all more or less predictable. If there was anything worth noting, perhaps it was the existence of her twin elder sister.
Her sister had carried light within her from the moment she was born.
At least, that was what Luna thought. Whenever the timid and gloomy Luna found herself unable to say a word, it was always her sister who stepped forward and spoke on her behalf.
How confident and magnificent she had looked.
Luna decided that she would spend her entire life following behind her. She would never be able to become someone like that anyway. So instead, she would become a supporting player who backed her sister from behind.
Like the moon reflecting the light of the sun.
That was why hers was an “uninteresting story.” Luna’s life had always revolved around her sister, and looking after her was more or less the entirety of her daily existence.
It was a life that suited her perfectly.
The uninteresting life of an insignificant woman.
But change eventually comes even to a life…
