The sight of the man who had to grip his sword even while shedding tears was utterly pitiful. It also held a strange immersive power, so I and ‘Senior Elsie’ silently appreciated the man’s memories for quite a while.
How much time had passed?
We couldn’t stay like this forever, so I cautiously opened my mouth. Outside, a life-or-death bloody battle must be raging.
“Can you see it properly?”
“No.”
It was an immediate answer.
