Every time I took a step, bloody paint left traces.

The vampire’s kin, crawling like a four-legged beast, suddenly leaped up. It was a springy jump reminiscent of a feline predator, but it was far from enough to overpower a warrior who had reached high expert level.

The blunt end of the handle served as an excellent substitute for a blunt weapon. White teeth flew through the air, prophesying the future of the struck woman.
