The Hunters who had visited the Kingdom of the Deep Sea relying solely on Black Cloak—who was said to help humans—died helplessly, one after another.
When resentment poured down upon both the suddenly vanished Black Cloak and the Association that had released information about him, an official statement followed.
“Nowhere in the information released by the Association did we state that anyone should rely on Black Cloak.”
If anything, they stressed the opposite.
“Though it may display unexpected behavior, it is ultimately still a Monster. The Association has consistently maintained that caution must be exercised. Not once have we ever said that Black Cloak is a safe or helpful Monster.”
Much of the problem stemmed from the rumor having been strangely distorted from the outset.
