By the time they had finished harvesting everything—

Gio and Iser carried the harvested crops toward the stream.

“It is convenient having a stream right in front of the house, is it not?”

“There cannot possibly be seawater in the middle of a forest like this.”

“This much is perfectly sensible.”

They washed the dirt from the crops.

There was, of course, a basket of tomatoes for the main ingredient, as well as six firm onions, six potatoes, six sweet potatoes, one head of cabbage, ten pea pods, one small pumpkin, and three carrots.

With each individual specimen so large, together they formed a small hill.
