“Hyung!”
Bang!
Gustaf turned calmly toward his younger brother, who had violently flung the door open.
“Tobias.”
“What do you mean, all of a sudden? Wandering ministry? Hyung, are you out of your mind?”
Tobias Gustaf.
He was Gustaf’s younger brother, with a fair gap in age between them, and a young man currently attending the theological academy. His innate Divine Power was excellent, and his personality was lively and sociable as well.
Because of that, whenever Gustaf looked at Tobias, he would always think the same thing.
‘I ended up as nothing more than an insignificant low-ranking priest, but this one could probably rise to an important position in the Orthodox Church. Maybe he could even be hired by a lord under favorable terms.’
He was a younger brother to be proud of, with a fairly secure future laid out before him.
And now that same younger brother was raising his voice at Gustaf in a state of great agitation.
“Wandering ministry? What era are we living in? What are you, Saintess Grazia? Who does that kind of outdated service anymore?”
It was hardly unreasonable for Tobias to react that way.
“Wandering ministry” referred to the act of a priest roaming the world without a fixed destination in order to serve the Lord God.
Since such priests were not formally attached to any particular church, they had no means of receiving protection while wandering around with nothing but what they carried on their bodies.
In other words, it meant staking one’s life on service for the sake of faith.
“The demon being summoned wasn’t even your fault in the first place! If anything, you played a huge part in resolving the whole disaster. So why are you going out of your way to choose such a dangerous path?”
“Shh! Lower your voice, Tobias. What if someone hears you?”
“Ha! Who around here doesn’t know what happened…
