The Alchemist, muttering like a madman, denied reality. Black-stained hands tore at his hair.
“Wh-where did it go wrong? From where…? I can fix it, I can fix it. Father, I was wrong. I’ll do it again—just give me one chance, just once!”
“—So he was a fucking lunatic?”
I wondered what kind of deranged nutjob would pull something like this.
“Turns out he really is crazy.”

Killing intent (殺氣)!
He twisted his body in a hurry, but it was too late.
Swaek! Something ripped fast past his ear. A fire-hot pain immediately spread through his whole body.
“Aaaagh!”
The Alchemist rolled across the rainwater. He couldn’t tell whether the wetness soaking him was rain or blood.
He saw a piece of his own flesh roll away in the distance. He moaned, ghastly pale.
“G-Gyeon Riok…! How!”
Through the dark rain walked a pretty youth with a decadent air. With gloomy eyes, Gyeon Riok leveled his spearpoint at the prey’s throat.
“So you know who I am. Good—saves time. I’m only going to ask once. Answer well.”
“S-spare m—”
“Who sent you? This scale isn’t something a solo play can pull off.”

Panting, the Alchemist looked up. An Asian face, but not quite…
