Should I let her go?
My mind becomes tangled at Namgung Bi-ah’s words saying she wants to go.
If I have to let her go.
Why on earth should I let her go?
The North Sea.
To that distant land, I wanted to stop Namgung Bi-ah who insisted on going.
Even so, I couldn’t easily stop her.
The reason was nothing else.
‘The eyes,’
Because the eyes of Namgung Bi-ah looking at me were clearer than any other time.
The eyes that seemed dazed disappeared, and the blue eyes shone like jewels.
Like someone who has discovered a path.
Looking at those unusually shining eyes, it was truly difficult to say don’t go.
However.
Even so, I said it.
Please don’t go.
Don’t leave me behind in that distant place.
I wanted to say that.
Even if it was sordid and petty. I wanted to hold onto Namgung Bi-ah like that.
It’s a truly shameless emotion.
I hated feeling this so much that I repeatedly pushed it away, yet now I was wrapped in the emotion as if that worry had taken root.
This is a vile possessiveness beyond affection.
Because I placed Namgung Bi-ah in my heart, that spot has endlessly grown, and I can’t let her go.
