What is ‘mana’?
Following the commonly used expression, it is a ‘raw material that can be exchanged for miracles.’ Various definitions are possible depending on the perspective, but that is the representative role that ‘mana’ plays.
Should I say it’s the power needed to transcend physical limits?
Originally, there is an upper limit to the muscle strength that the human body can produce. Moreover, miracles like conjuring water, fire, and wind alone are not powers originally granted to humanity.
But aren’t we performing these miracles as if it’s nothing? This is entirely due to the characteristics of ‘mana.’
Twisting and changing the rules.
If the ‘mental image’ creates a new law, ‘mana’ projects it onto reality. That’s why both martial artists and mages strive to increase the amount of mana in their bodies, regardless of path.
Because you can’t light a fire without fuel.
In this way, ‘mana’ is an existence no different from air for warriors and mages. It’s understandable, as they’ve been together since childhood and never separated even once.
