‘Grave of Swords’.
As if proving the old woman’s explanation that countless trainees had broken their swords, this towering cliff bore slash marks like hatchings. Considering that the material forming this cliff was ‘Heavenly Sword Rock’, it was an astonishing achievement.
A mysterious rock that suppresses mana.
‘Heavenly Sword Rock’ excelled not only in weight but also in hardness. Normally, one shouldn’t be able to leave even a scratch with ordinary sword skill. Nevertheless, so many sword scars were engraved here.
It felt like I was finally witnessing the prowess of the ‘Sword Circle’ that had continued for thousands of years.
However, even in all that history, there was one overwhelmingly dominant sight.
The cliff was split.
The Grand Master called it ‘that man’, but upon seeing that pristine, almost miraculous slash, I realized immediately. The owner of this clean to the point of wondrous severing strike.
“How about it, would you like to try swinging your sword as a test?”
It was words I heard while blankly staring at the cliff.
The source was obvious. In this place that had far surpassed the mid-slope of Heavenly Sword Mountain, only two were present.
When I turned my head, there stood an old woman with deep eyes.
‘Grand Master’.
