Gio was not particularly angry with Sa Narae.
“Why would I need to be?”
“Hmm. I see.”
Sa Narae smiled languidly.
“Most people get angry.”
“I can understand why they might.”
“You’re tougher than I expected.”
Contrary to his previously established notoriety, Sa Narae proved unexpectedly cooperative.
“If no one objects, shall we start by finding ourselves a house?”
“A house?”
When Gio blinked at his words, Curator Garasani, who remained beside him, whispered,
“‘House’ is Hunter slang for a resting place where they can stay, however briefly, inside a Dungeon. If a clear will not end within a day or two, it is convenient to establish a shelter or base in advance.”
After finishing the explanation, Garasani surveyed their surroundings and spoke.
“Both the temperature and humidity are high, and many of the plants contain poison. We should look for a clearing where the ground is as firm as possible. If no suitable place exists, we can cut down the plants and make one.”
“Personally, I think making one ourselves would be faster. I don’t know what the terrain is like where the other teams landed, but I can’t smell dry ground anywhere nearby… We’d have to walk quite a way.”
Sa Narae sniffed as he looked around.
“The humidity here is seriously high.”
The dense vegetation growing without so much as a place to put one’s foot probably contributed to that humidity. The air caught in their throats as though they had entered…
