“Are we really allowed to do this?”
At Juhyeon’s words, squeezed into the back seat of the car, Gio asked,
“Is there a problem?”
“There are several things I want to say….”
As Juhyeon trailed off, Yoo Seongwoon, sitting behind the wheel, gave his customary placid smile.
“We are leaving without packing a single thing. Don’t worry, I made arrangements separately, so the pension should be stocked with clothes to wear and food to eat.”
“I did wonder about that, but it wasn’t the only thing concerning me.”
“Are you surprised because the trip is so sudden? I suppose you might be concerned about security, Mr. Juhyeon, but that won’t be a problem either. We’re going to a stretch of sea without any people.”
As the car glided smoothly forward, Gio asked,
“There are no people at the sea?”
“There generally aren’t people in the sea itself.”
“I suppose it is not used as a tourist destination.”
“More often, it serves as a source of food or is designated a hazardous area.”
The seas of the present age were not especially hospitable places for people to live.
“But there will be even fewer people where we’re going. Our destination is an unreconstructed zone.”
“What is an unreconstructed zone?”
